One of my flea market trips ended with finding a Kewpie doll! The doll itself is Japanese, but I found it at a market in Russia. It has a TBN marking on its back, typical for Japanese and Asian miniatures from the mid-20th century. These dolls were produced around the 1950s–60s. Despite its age, it’s in amazing condition. The Kewpie character first appeared in the early 20th century thanks to illustrations by the American artist Rose O’Neill. I decided to add some glamour to this Kewpie doll and give it a new life. I encrusted its body with numerous moissanites. The shine is absolutely blinding — like high-beam headlights.
Production time for custom orders: 14–21 days. (For details — message me on Telegram.)
