“Nice catch!”
The jewelry collection “Nice Catch!” is inspired by the aesthetics and culture of fishing. I hope you’ve seen those fishing TV shows where anglers talk about the “ultimate lure,” show off their tackle, wobblers, worms, and all the little details of the fishing world. The whole process of fishing — and then the unbelievable catch! Giant fish with wide-open mouths filling the screen, and fishermen shouting with excitement.
But my collection isn’t really about fishing. It’s about that moment when you feel alive, real, and genuinely happy. Fishing is about the joy of the process, where the journey matters more than the final result. To me, it’s a direct metaphor for the way life should feel.
I love the fact that fishing so often ends with a catch — that desired, long-awaited trophy. My pieces “Screaming Fish” and “Tail” are like trophies themselves: reminders of those vivid moments when luck smiled at you, and of the idea that life should be lived to the fullest.
